Alfred Bernhard Nobel, a Swedish Inventer and philanthropist bequeathed most of his vast fortune
trust as a fund from which annual prizes could be awarded to individuals and organizations who had
brought about the greatest benefit to humanity in a particular year. Originally there were 6 class-
ifications for outstanding contributions designated in Nobel's Will including Chemistry, Physics,
Physiology or Medicine, Literature and international peace.

The prizes are administrated by the Nobel Foundation in Stockholm. In 1969, a prize for economics
endowed by the Central Bank of Sweden was added. Candidates for the prizes must be nominated in writing
by a qualified authority in the field of competition. Recipients in Physics, Chemistry and Economics are
opted by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, in Physiology or Medicine by the Caroline Institute;
in Literature by the Swedish Academy; and in peace by the Norwegian Nobel Committee appointed by Norway's
Parliament. The prizes are usually presented in Stockholm on december 10, with the King of Sweden off-
iciating, an improper tribute to Alfred Nobel on the anniversary of his death. every 1 includes a

Precipitation, commonly referred to as rainfall, is a measure of volume of water
in the form of either rain, hail or snow which reaches the ground. The avg. annual precipitation
over the whole of the United States is thirty-six inches. It should be understood however, that a foot
of snow is not equal to a foot of precipitation. A general formula for computing the precipitation of
snow-fall is that ten inches of snow is equal to 1 inch of precipitation. In New York state, for
example twenty inches of snow in 1 year would be recorded as only 2 inches of precipitation. Forty
inches of rain would be recorded as forty 2 inches. (10)

Arzoo, the host of a show (interviewer) is in conversation with a well known skin specialist
Dr. Ravi. Dr. Ravi reveals details of the inside and outside of our skin. He explains the different skin
kinds and the meaning of the pigmentation of the ski. According to him, pigmentation of skin is due to
the melanin current in the skin coupled with the climatic and regional conditions. He also says that
different factors are responsible for the darkening of the skin. In the end he sums up by giving a few
useful tips for the maintenance of the skin. (10)
