(a) Use single exponential smoothing technique to forecast demand of various periods with a = 0.20 and an initial forecast of 100.

4. Consider the subsequent assembly network relationships of a product. The number of shifts per day is 1 and the number of working hours is 8. The company aims to produce 40 units of the product per shift. Group the activities into optimal number of stations using Rank Positional Weight Method. Also, calculate the corresponding balancing efficiency.
