Question! 16 Marks). For Selectivc-Reject ARQ discuss the following four different scenarios using examples.
1. (1.5 Marks]. Normal Operation.
2. (1.5 Marks). Damaged Frames.
3. (1.5 Marks). Lost frame.
4. (1.5 Marks). Lost Acknowledgment.
Question2 (4 Marks). Draw the sender and receiver windows for a system using Go-Back*N ARQ given the following:
1. [0.5 Marks). Frame 0 is sent; frame 0 is acknowledged.
2. [0.5 Marks). Frame 1 and 2 are sent; frames 1 and 2 are acknowledged.
3. (1.5 Marks]. Frame 3,4, and 5 arc sent; NAK 4 is rcccivcd.
4. [1.5 Marks]. Frames 4, 5.6, and 7 are sent; frames 4 through 7 arc acknowledged.
Question3 [6 Marks). Repeat Question2 (all four scenarios) using Selective-Reject ARQ. Question4 (4 Marks).
1. [2 Maries]. In a single-bit error correction, a code of three bits can be in one of our states. Mention their names. How many of these bits should be redundant to correct this code? How many bits can be the actual data?
2. [2 Marks). Using the logic in a (I) part, find out how many redundant bits should be in a 10*bit code to detect an error.
