Q5. Inachemostat with cell recycle the feed flow rate & culture volumes arc F=l00ml/h and Y=1000ml respectively. The system is operated under the glucose limitation & the maximum yield is 0 5 gdw cells per gm substrate. Glucose concentration in the feed is 10 gm/l, umax * 0.2 h'1 and Ks=l g/1, C=1.5, a=0.7. The system is at steady state.
