3. (a) What is a covalent bond? Explain the Lewis formula for calculating number of covalent bonds
(b) Calculate the number of covalent bonds and draw the structure of the following compounds with the help of Lewis formula (i) Hypochlorous acid (ii) Hydroxytamine and (iii) Nitric acid
4. Explain reciprocal lattice. Prove numerically that simple cubic is self-reciprocal and bcc and fee lattices are reciprocal of each other.
