f) Lipid lowering agents

a) Classify H-1 receptor antagonists. provide the synthesis of Diphenhydramine.
b) Describe the synthesis, mode of action and medicinal uses of ranitidine.
c) Write notes on:

a) Discuss the SAR of Propionic acid derivatives of NSAIDS.
b) Explain the mode of action of sulpha drugs and explain their chemotherapeutic applications.

a) What are diagnostic aids? provide the synthesis and uses of Iopanoic acid.
b) Give the Pharmacological classification of diuretics. Write the synthesis and uses of acetazolamide.
c) Write an account on " aldosterone antagonists".
