role in organisation development.
(d) What is counselling? Mention its contribution to the success of appraisal.
(e) Enumerate the steps in designing and installing an appraisal system.
(f) What is potential appraisal? How does it help employee's motivation?
2. Attempt any 3 ques. (each ans should be within 150 words):
(a) "Learning is the essence of training.” explain. discuss by examples how training
generates learning.
(b) How are training needs assessed? Illustrate by designing a need-based training
programme.
(c) Write notes on training methods, techniques, facilities and aids.
(d) What is career planning? How does it influence workers' motivation?
(e) explain the role of education and training in organisation development.
