control, Machiavellianism, kind A and
kind B personality and self-monitoring
personality trait with the help of
suitable examples. [Marks 12]

(b) explain the theories of classical
conditioning and operant conditioning.
Mention a few critisms against these
theories. [Marks 12]

2.(a) explain in detail Herzberg's two-factor
theory and briefly what are Clayton
Alderfer's ERG theory. [Marks 8+4=12]

(b) explain the different barriers to effective
communication clearly dividing them
into 2 categories: receiver-oriented
barriers and sender-oriented barriers. [Marks 12]

(g) describe job satisfaction. How is job
satisfaction related to job involvement
and organisational commitment?

(h) discuss the concept of group think and
group shift in the situation of group behaviour.
