2. valuation is to be done as per the instructions given in the Marking Scheme. It should
not be done according to one’s own interpretation or any other consideration - Marking
Scheme should be strictly adhered to and religiously followed.
3. If the ques. has parts, please award marks in the right hand side for every part. Marks
awarded to the various parts of the ques. should be then totalled up and written in the
left hand margin and circled.
4. If the ques. does not have any parts, marks will be awarded in the left - hand margin.
5. If a candidate has attempted any extra ques. or part, marks found in the best ques.
should be retained and the other ans should be scored out.
6. Q.1, Q.2, Q.10, Q.11 and Q.14 are meant to test the comprehension ability of the candidates
and not the ability of expression. Full credit should be provided for the accurate value point,
even if the ans is not provided in a full sentence.
7. In ques. consisting of three or more than three marks, break up of marks should be shown
seperately (as suggested in the Marking Scheme) and then totalled.
8. A full scale of marks 0 to 100 has to be used. Please do not hesitate to award full marks if
the ans deserves it.
