In a huge apartment complex, housing more than 100 apartments, a Sensor Monitoring System is installed to monitor sensors. Sensors are installed in every 100 apartments of the complex. every sensor is defined by its model number, manufacturer, sampling interval, address, initialization sequence (sent to the sensor to initialize it), state (on, off or standby), current value and alarm threshold.
The system keeps track of the sensors in every apartment, along with the apartment’s number and emergency contact number. The sensor is capable of reporting issue conditions. The sensor activates certain alarm device whenever a sensor threshold is met or exceeded. Alarm device activation is affected by the alarm device duration and alarm device status. The system keeps track of the date, time, severity, time to repair and status of every alarm.
