Q1. Write a program for valuation of Y = (A+B) / (D-E)*(A+B)*(D+E) using 1 and one-half address machines by clearly giving the comments for every instruction.
(Program - 1.5 + comments - 1, Program - 1.5 + comments - 1).

Q2. With the block diagram discuss the hardware implementation of unsigned binary multiplication; demonstrate the method for 0101 X 1000. (2+1+2)

Q3. provided x = 0101 and y = 1010 in twos complement notation, calculate the product p=x X y with Booth’s algorithm. Clearly represent multiplier, multiplicand and product in decimal notations also. (3+2)

Q4. List and discuss the fundamental design problems in designing instruction set. (1X5 = 5)

Q5. discuss with examples any 5 general addressing modes supported by the instruction set of a computer. ((0.5 + 0.5 = 1) X 5) = 5

Q6. discuss the architecture of 8086 microprocessor with respect to memory and register.

Q7. define any 3 data transfer and 2 arithmetic instructions of 8086; clearly show the contents before and after execution of those instructions. (1 X 5)
