Q.1 “You do not listen with just ears, you listen with your mind, eyes and heart.” Elucidate with improper examples and also explain the causes of poor listening and give tips for effective listening. (8)

Q.2 Imagine that you are the Dean, Academic Affairs of Budding Brains Academy, Ahmedabad. You wish to prepare a proposal for conducting various programmes like Personality Development, Placement Skills, CAT, GRE, etc. for college students. For this you plan to conduct workshops, seminars, etc. in various colleges. In order to approach the authorities of different colleges, you need to prepare an unsolicited proposal. Now prepare a full-length proposal inventing necessary details. (10)

Q.3 India Airways has been constantly incurring loss due to sharp reduce in number of passengers traveling by this airways. The Civil Aviation Department, Govt. of India is serious about this issue and wants to know the real causes for the passengers’ lack of interest in this airways. You being the Chief Commercial Manager have been asked to look into this issue and suggest suitable measures to attract more passengers. Now write the Discussion, Conclusion and Recommendation (only) of your full length report using the subsequent data which have been collected by you from the passengers using mail questionnaire. Invent necessary details.

There is a tourist bungalow which has air-conditioned rooms, a bar and a swimming pool. Draft a sales letter in block layout to be sent to the 1st Secretaries of the foreign diplomatic missions in Delhi for promoting tourist traffic to this centre. (8)
