Q.1. The mean concentration of sulfur dioxide in Delhi is 57µg/m3. What is the equivalent concentration in parts per million at 25 oC and one atm? (4)

Q.3. define the different particulate matters which are current in the polluted air. (6)



Q.4. Dust concentration of a flue gas in a cement plant is 700 mg/m3, which is coming out of stack diameter 1m. The velocity of the flue gas is 10 m/s. The stack temperature is 172oC. The capacity is 200 tonnes cement per day. obtain out total dust emission load in kg/s and kg/tones of cement. The density of gas at 172oC is 0.92 kg/m3. (8)
