1. Describe the different kinds of research and examine its suitability.
2. Examine the place of hypothesis in social research. elaborate the conditions of a valid hypothesis?
3. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of different sampling methods used in social research. Indicate where case study methods are more useful than sample survey methods.
4. ‘‘The questionnaire is not scientific, it is only a cheap, easy and rapid method of obtaining info or
non-information ; 1 never knows which’’. Comment.
5. Explain the various steps involved in processing data.
6. Briefly discuss the process of structuring the report.
7. Describe the important parametric tests used in the situation of testing hypothesis.
8. Describe the different kinds of reports. Also discuss the various styles of reporting.
