11.i) List the kinds of electrodes used for pH measurement. discuss the construction details of 1 of them. Why is reference electrode needed for pH measurement? (8 )

12.a)i) discuss the use of thermal conductivity gauge for the analysis of flue gas. (8 )

ii) define the construction details and working of a dust monitor. (8 )

ii) On a particular 25cm long column of a chromatograph, benzene had retention time of 33min and a peak width of 15.1min. compute the number of theoretical plates in the column and height equivalent of a theoretical plate (HETP). (6)
