12. (a) (i) Define Symmetry elements and holohedral forms of a crystal.

(ii) Describe the axial characters, symmetry elements holohedral forms
and kind mineral of normal class of orthorhombic system.

(ii) Describe with neat sketches the terminology and different kinds of
faults. Add a note on their engineering importances. (4 + eight + two = 14)

(b) What are the kinds of electrical survey methods? define briefly the methods of geophysical exploration for location of sulphide ore bodies.

15. (a) (i) Give a brief note on Interpretation of satellite imagery data. (5)
(ii) Describe briefly the various kinds of aerial–photography and its
characteristics. (11)
