1. Give an account of UTM projection and bring out the importance of its utility.
2. Explain the methodology for creation of database for physical features from
toposheets.
3. What do you understand by the concept of stereoscopic view and discuss the
methodology to obtain relative heights from the aerial photograph.
4. Give an account of nature of data in geographical research.
5. Give an account of preparation of questionnaire for household surveys.
6. Discuss how the research problem can be putup with justification in geographical
research, give suitable examples.
7. Write notes on any two :
i) Nature of data in geography
ii) Use of GIS in geographical research
iii) Non-parametric tests
