1. Describe the life cycle of malarial parasite. Classify anti malarial agents. Outline
the MOA and synthesis of any one of them.
2. Discuss the SAR of anti tubercular drugs. Mention the structure and uses of
p- aminosalisylic acid, isoniazid, etambutol and pyrizinamide. Explain the synthesis
of INH.
3. Explain the chemistry, mechanism of action and applications of anti coagulants and
diagnostic agents

4. Explain the importance of computer aided drug design (CADD) and combinatorial
chemistry in development of new drug with the help of suitable examples. Add a

10. Historical development and clinical importance of anti protozoal agents by taking
examples with its brand names.
11. Classify diuretics. Discuss the chemistry and mechanism of action of high-ceiling
diuretics.
