1. Explain the intrinsic muscles of the larynx with appropriate diagrams.
2. A thirty years old woman reports to the clinic with a sudden loss of voice following an emotional trauma. Indirect laryngoscopy reveals normal vocal fold structure and function. How would you assess this patient. What would be the probable diagnosis and management strategies for this patient.
3. Who are professional voice users. Elaborate the symptoms, signs and management of voice disorders exhibited by professional voice users.
4. What is tracheo- esophageal speech. List out the candidacy criteria for trachea- esophageal prosthesis fitting. How do you fit a tracheo- esophageal prosthesis and the complications that can arise during the fitting of tracheo- esophageal prosthesis.
