3) a) Explain Optical Rotation and Optical Rotary Dispersion with their significance.
b) Define Snell's legal regulations. define applications of R.I.
c) A solution of acetic acid is prepared by adding 164.2gm of the acid to sufficient water to make 800ml of solution. The density of solution at the temperature is 1.026gm/cm3 (molecular mass of acetic acid is 60gm/mol). compute molarity and mole fraction.

4) a) Derive an expression for determination of molecular mass of a solute using lowering of vapor pressure.
b) Define Colligative Property and discuss how B.P. elevation is 1 of the colligative property?

5) a) Explain the Postulates of Debye Huckel theory.
b) Give a note on Polymorphism.
