2.A welded bracket is loaded as shown in below figure .Design the suitable weld ? |

3. Determine ihe resultant stress in rivet B of the eecenlricled connections as shown in below fig. And compare this stress with the allowable rivet value if 20mm rivets are used. The bracket plate and column flange are both I Omni thick and allowable stress of 100 N/mm2 and 300 N/mm2 in bearing may assumed.
