PART A — (2 ´ 15 = 30 marks)
ans any 2 ques. not exceeding
750 words every.
1. explain the issues of economics teaching in rural schools. Specify the need for in-service
education for rural teachers.

2. elaborate the objectives of tests? Distinguish ranging from diagnonistic and prognostic tests.
Prepare a list of objective kind ques. (2 each) from a lesson in Economics.

3. What is curriculum? elaborate the procedures followed in the curriculum revision?

PART B — (5 ´ six = 30 marks)
ans any 5 ques. not exceeding 300 words every.
4. elaborate case studies? discuss how case studies could be used for teaching of Economics.

5. discuss how economics education can help in solving political issues in India.

6. explain the different causes for poverty in India. discuss how poverty could be eradicated through
education.

7. Narrate the special characteristics features of a good economics test.

8. elaborate the factors to be borne in mind before adapting computer assisted instruction?

9. define the relationship ranging from economics and statistics.

10. What is the role of educational technology in teaching of economics?

11. Why in service programme is needed for economics teachers?

PART C — (5 ´ three = 15 marks)
ans ALL ques. not exceeding 150 words every.
12. elaborate the aims of teaching Economics at the Higher Secondary Level?

13. List out the merits and demerits of seminar methods.

14. Differentiate unit plan and lesson plan.

15. elaborate teacher made tests?

16. State the principles of teaching economics.
