PART - A

Answer all questions :

4.    Causes for Air Pollution.

8.    Public Liability Insurance.

PART - B

Decide the two of the following :

1. An Industrial city called X having fleet of factories discharging toxic gases causing air pollution resulting in the respiratory diseases to the people of City X. Mr. Y leading the victims of air pollution filed a Public Interest Litigation in the High Court against the Xs City Municipal Council and the Commissioner of the Municipality. Decide.

2.    Mr. X has established a fertiliser factory in the town called H. The fertiliser factory is discharging polluted water adversely affecting the purity of water and air causing both water and air pollution. One of the leaders of the town filed a case against the management for causing hardship to the people living nearby the fertiliser factory. Decide.

3.    Mr. X started a Rice Mill in his Town called Y The Rice Mill is working all the 24 hour a day causing sound pollution leading to sleepless nights to the residents living nearby the Rice Mill. One of the residents filed a case against the owner of the Rice Mill Mr. X for causing nuisance to the residents adversely affecting the hearing capacity of the people living nearby the Rice Mill. Decide.    (2x6=12 Marks)

PART - C

Answer any four of the following :

2.    Right to Environment is a Fundamental Right. Explain.

3.    Explain the importance of Stockholm Declaration, 1972.

6.    Rio Declaration and its Simportance.

7. Agenda 21 and its importance.
