1 Discuss the provisions for the voluntary reference of    13

Industrial disputes for arbitration under the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947

OR

1    Discuss "Unfair labour practices" as described in fifth 13 schedule of the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947.

2    Write short note on any three of the following with    12 reference to the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 :

(i)    Difference between lay-off and Retrenchment

(ii)    Public Utility Service

(iii)    Strike and Lockout

(iv)    Industrial Dispute

(v)    Workman.

Write definition of "Child" and discuss restriction on    13

employment of children in factory under the Factories Act, 1948.
