2 What is Macro level man power planning ? discuss with labour
market analysis.

forecasting.

in organisation.
6 Case Study :
V.V.P. Engineering Works is located in Rajkot.
Mr. Prakash Maniar - President has been with the organisation
since from inceptions. Mr. Maniar has made ambitious plans
for quality of engineering production. The organisation is self
financed Mr. Maniar has kept his presidentship and the
employees lean and trim. The employees were provided aggressive
targets and were virtually pushed to reach to their respective
targets.
There were no formal appraisal and reward system in
V.V.P. Engineering Works. During the last year more than
25% of employees had left the organisation due to
unsatisfactory increment and promotion. Those who left the
organisation were excellent employees. Mr. Maniar don't care
for this high labour turnover. He was over confident and he
would be able to hire freshers. Since V.V.P. Engineering
Works paid half Salary offer to the freshers.
ques. :
(1) What do you perceive is the basic issue in V.V.P.
Engineering Works ? Suggest the steps you would take
to accurate the situation.
(2) Should the system include performance appraisal reward
like increment and promotion ? provide your reasons.
