2. What is the importance of system analysis and design methodologies when building a system? Why not just build the system in what ever way seeing to be ‘quick and easy’? What value is given by using an ‘Engineering’ approach?

3. What steps make up system development cycle with structured analysis? define every step briefly.

4. Describe the concept and procedure used in constructing DFDs. Use an example of your own to illustrate.

5. Describe your university or college as a system. What is the input, the output, the boundary, the components, their interrelationships, the constraints, the purpose, the interface, and the environment? Draw the diagram of the system.

6. Contrast the difference ranging from CASE, object-oriented and visual development tools. How are these tools similar? How are these tools different?

8. How do you know when to use structured English, decision table, or decision tree? Which is best for what situation? discuss every with example.
